This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Facilitate the arrangement of hospital privileges and credentialing for providers in accordance with client medical staff regulations, rules, or bylaws.
• Aid clients in acquiring the necessary documents required for hospital privilege and credentialing applications.
• Confirm education, work experience, references, and supporting documents as mandated by the facility.
• Collaborate with client representatives, provider representatives, and providers to gather essential documentation.
• Finalize the credentialing essential for granting privileges to providers at various worksites.
• Organize medical services and background checks, including fingerprinting services, according to facility requirements.
• Relay application status and results to the sales team.
• Assist the Credentialing Manager and other credentialing specialists in their tasks.
• Monitor provider applications submitted to medical staff offices and support the hospital verification procedures.
• Handle large quantities of documentation promptly and professionally.
• Independently manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Ability to meet various critical deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven accuracy in record-keeping.
• Capacity to work independently.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative and/or customer service role.
• Experience in the healthcare or staffing sectors.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
