Hospice Veterinarian – You Set The Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary services

• Assist pet families throughout Baton Rouge, Merrydale, and Prairieville, Louisiana

• Practice medicine without the constraints of waiting rooms, overbooked schedules, or corporate metrics

• Facilitate meaningful end-of-life consultations, allowing ample time for families

• Operate independently within a mobile setting

• Work collaboratively with the support team and maintain professional communication with families

• Maintain a self-directed schedule

⛳️ Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree

• Valid driver’s license required

• Capability to work autonomously in a mobile environment

• Weekend availability on a rotating basis

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs without assistance

• Exhibit compassion, dignity, and respect for all

• Professional communication skills with both team members and families
