Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their own homes.

• Operate independently while traveling throughout Joliet, Kankakee, New Lenox, Plainfield, Illinois, and the adjacent metropolitan area.

• Dedicate time to listen to families, address challenging questions, and clarify end-of-life care options.

• Assist families in bidding farewell with dignity and tranquility.

• Manage a flexible schedule of 2 to 5 days each week.

• Conduct a limited number of appointments daily without overlapping bookings or feeling rushed.

• Engage in onboarding, personalized mentorship, and continuous team support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• A valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select 4 weekend days per month that align with your personal schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, a background check, and a review of driving records prior to the start date.
