Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services in the comfort of pets' homes.

• Operate independently while on the road.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day, ensuring no double-booking or rushing.

• Spend quality time with families, addressing challenging questions and assisting them in saying goodbye with grace and tranquility.

• Serve families located in West Chicago, DeKalb, Aurora, Hoffman, Hanover Park, and surrounding metropolitan areas and neighborhoods.

• Engage in onboarding, receive one-on-one mentorship, and pursue ongoing professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License.

• Select four weekend days per month that accommodate your lifestyle.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• Completion of license verification, a background check, and a review of driving records prior to the start date.
