Hospice Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia services for pets in their homes.

• Assist families located in San Mateo, Redwood City, El Granada, Daly City, California, and the surrounding metropolitan region.

• Manage a limited number of appointments each day to ensure no double-booking or haste.

• Engage with families, address challenging inquiries, clarify care processes, and honor each pet’s unique journey.

• Work independently while traveling.

• Guide families through end-of-life care and facilitate a dignified and peaceful farewell.

• Participate in onboarding, receive one-on-one mentorship, and benefit from ongoing team support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.

• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

• Select four weekend days each month that suit your lifestyle.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

• License verification is necessary prior to the start date.

• A background check must be completed before the start date.

• Driving record review is required before the start date.
