Homeowners Liability BI Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate and verify the details of loss for the most intricate automobile accidents

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages

• Adjust and negotiate claims within established authority limits

• Provide support for liability claims across all 50 states, with roughly 90% of the caseload centered on homeowners liability claims

• Identify customer requirements and address them utilizing appropriate customer service skills

• Evaluate the potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the handling approach for complex cases

• Utilize advanced knowledge of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships

• Suggest process enhancements

• Review, assess, and negotiate moderate to complex or catastrophic injury claims as needed

• Investigate intricate auto claims regarding coverage, liability, and damages with discretion and independence

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing bodily injury litigation and homeowners liability claims

• Litigation experience is essential for success in this position

• A solid background in commercial claims with transferable liability and litigation expertise may be considered

• Candidates must reside in the eastern or central time zone states specified for the role

• Must have authorization to work in the United States

• The employer does not sponsor individuals for work visas

• Active insurance license holders must cancel all current appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary
