Home Care Worker – Casual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services to aged care clients

• Carry out general housekeeping tasks and make beds

• Clean, mop, and vacuum various floors

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry items

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping

• Provide social support and transportation for lifestyle activities

• Assist family caregivers by providing respite or attending to other responsibilities

• Work autonomously and devise solutions to everyday challenges

• Seek assistance from a manager when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential experience in community or aged care

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence

• A personal insured and roadworthy vehicle

• Enjoyment of variety in daily tasks

• A passion for delivering outstanding service

• Ability to foster positive relationships with clients and their families

• Commitment to aiding aged community members in living independently at home

• Comfort in working alone and solving everyday issues

• Awareness of when to consult a manager for support

• Statutory Declaration required prior to starting

• National Police check required before starting

• Working Rights check required before starting

• Pre-employment functional assessment required before starting
