Home Care Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Aid clients with mobility assistance and medication reminders.

• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping duties.

• Empower clients to maintain their independence and daily routines.

• Provide attentive support during waking night shifts.

• Adhere to individual care plans and report any changes in a client's needs.

• Keep accurate records of care and visit notes.

• Ensure safety by following company policies, safeguarding, and health and safety procedures.

• Participate in mandatory training, meetings, and ongoing development sessions.

• Support clients throughout Loughborough and the broader Charnwood area via live-in care, waking nights, and hourly morning and evening home care visits.

• Possess a caring, compassionate, and dependable character.

• Prior experience in care is preferred but not mandatory.

• Reside in Charnwood or nearby areas.

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is crucial for community-based care.

• Capacity to obtain suitable Class 1 Business Motor Insurance for work-related driving.

• Demonstrate flexible and dependable availability.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with clients.

• Willingness to complete all necessary training requirements.
