HFT Trader, Market Maker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research on market data for centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX), focusing on order books, trade flows, and on-chain signals.

• Design, implement, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies in live production environments.

• Manage the entire strategy lifecycle from research to execution, incorporating ongoing enhancements based on live P&L and risk performance.

• Broaden automated trading systems to include new crypto products, venues, and liquidity pools; enhance execution quality and capital efficiency.

• Monitor and report on daily market conditions, portfolio exposure, risk metrics, and P&L performance.

• Conduct post-trade analyses to assess strategy effectiveness, pinpoint inefficiencies, and boost risk-adjusted returns.

• Collaborate with engineering and trading teams to improve infrastructure, latency, and execution systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying successful trading strategies within crypto markets.

• Established history of creating trading strategies from inception to execution, demonstrating measurable P&L results or strong performance evidence.

• In-depth understanding of crypto market structure, including the mechanics of CEX/DEX, liquidity behavior, and volatility dynamics.

• Experience in short-horizon, high-frequency, high-turnover trading strategies.

• Proficient programming skills with hands-on experience in C++ or Rust (Python is acceptable for research purposes).

• A STEM degree from a prestigious university or equivalent practical experience in quantitative trading or systems development.

• Candidates should anticipate 2–3 rounds of coding assessments, each lasting 2–3 hours.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
