Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Prepare, organize, scan, process, and manage electronic and physical medical records, reports, and company documents.

• Collect and arrange examinee charts for medical reviews, examinations, and deposition activities.

• Complete charts by verifying that all necessary documentation is included, correctly ordered, and free from duplicates.

• Execute data entry, typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading tasks.

• Draft cover letters, update client databases, and oversee document storage systems.

• Carry out mail-related duties and assist with internal document workflows.

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard confidential information.

• Review documents to confirm report accuracy.

• Assist with medical review, peer review, and billing processes by managing examinee charts and medical records.

• Must possess reliable internet access and a private workspace.

• High school diploma is required.

• Strong skills in data entry, communication, dependability, and computer proficiency.

• Familiarity with data entry and basic computer literacy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.

• Knowledge of insurance, medical records, medical claims, healthcare, medical insurance, and medical terminology.

• Experience with electronic medical records, CMS, Salesforce CRM, and W365 Edge.

• Capability to read documents and verify the accuracy of reports.

• Ability to uphold stringent HIPAA compliance and protect confidential personal and medical information.

• Competence to work independently while achieving productivity, quality, and turnaround time goals.
