Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients

• Efficiently handle a high volume of incoming calls

• Initiate outbound calls as necessary

• Support patients with medication refills, inquiries about referrals, messages for doctors, and confirmation of appointments

• Complete documentation forms for calls

• Juggle multiple screens and applications during patient interactions

• Document calls while engaging in conversation

• Utilize company and client resources to provide accurate call handling

• Transition between tasks while maintaining efficiency and composure

• Adhere to scheduled times with reliable punctuality and attendance

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in customer interactions

• Participate in cross-training as requested

• Show empathy towards patients and their needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or customer support

• At least 1 year of experience in a call center or office setting is required

• Previous remote work-from-home experience is advantageous

• Quick learner with the ability to work independently

• Strong verbal communication and phone skills, along with effective active listening

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Successful completion of a background check in line with state and federal regulations

• Verified secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet connection

• Designated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection

• Starting wage of $14/hour, plus a shift differential (an additional $1/hour for nights and weekends)
