Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients.

• Handle a significant volume of incoming calls promptly, with outbound calls as required.

• Support patients with medication refills, inquiries about referrals, messages to physicians, and appointment confirmations.

• Complete documentation forms for all calls.

• Manage multiple screens and programs during interactions with patients/customers.

• Utilize company and client resources to accurately address calls.

• Transition between tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.

• Exhibit empathy towards patients and their requirements.

• Ensure punctuality and attendance at all designated times.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.

• Participate in cross-training as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.

• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office setting is required.

• Previous experience working remotely from home is an advantage.

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Background check required in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Verified secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed internet connection.

• Established dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.

• Capability to type and speak simultaneously to document calls.
