Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients through various communication channels.

• Handle mainly inbound calls and make outbound calls as required.

• Assist with medication refills, referral inquiries, messaging doctors, and confirming appointments.

• Document call details accurately.

• Multitask effectively across multiple screens and software during patient interactions.

• Simultaneously type and speak to record call information.

• Utilize company and client resources to manage calls effectively.

• Transition between tasks without compromising efficiency or professionalism.

• Exhibit empathy towards patients and their needs.

• Remain at the desk, ensuring punctuality and attendance during scheduled hours.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during customer interactions.

• Participate in cross-training as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in customer service or support roles.

• At least 1 year of experience in a call center or office environment is essential.

• Previous remote work experience is an advantage.

• Quick learner capable of independent work.

• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• A background check in accordance with state and federal laws will be necessary.

• Applicants must reside in AL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, LA, MI, MS, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, TN, UT, VA, WV, WI, or WY.

• Secure, reliable, dedicated high-speed internet connection is required.

• A designated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection is necessary.

• Starting pay of $14/hour, with an additional $1/hour for night and weekend shifts.
