Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients.

• Primarily manage inbound calls while also handling outbound calls as needed.

• Assist with medication refills, referrals, communication with doctors, and confirmation of appointments.

• Document all calls accurately.

• Multitask efficiently across various screens and programs during patient/customer interactions.

• Simultaneously type and speak to document calls effectively.

• Utilize company and client resources to handle calls accurately.

• Transition between tasks seamlessly without compromising efficiency or composure.

• Exhibit empathy towards patients and their individual needs.

• Ensure availability at the desk while maintaining punctuality and attendance during scheduled hours.

• Uphold a positive and professional demeanor in customer interactions.

• Participate in cross-training as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or customer support.

• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office environment is essential.

• Previous experience working remotely from home is advantageous.

• Quick to learn and capable of working independently.

• Strong verbal communication skills and phone etiquette along with active listening abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

• Background check required in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Must possess verified, secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed internet service.

• An established dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection is necessary.
