Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients

• Primarily manage inbound calls, with outbound calls as necessary

• Assist in medication refills, checking referrals, sending messages to physicians, and confirming appointments

• Complete documentation forms for calls

• Multitask across several screens and applications during patient/customer interactions

• Simultaneously type and converse to document calls

• Utilize company and client resources to accurately address calls

• Transition between tasks without sacrificing efficiency or composure

• Respond with empathy to patients and their requirements

• Uphold punctuality and attendance at scheduled times

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in customer interactions

• Participate in cross-training as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or customer support experience

• At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or office environment required

• Previous experience working remotely from home is a plus

• Quick to learn and capable of working independently

• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• A background check in compliance with state and federal laws will be required

• Candidates must reside in AL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, LA, MI, MS, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TX, TN, UT, VA, WV, WI, or WY

• Verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed) is required

• An established dedicated workspace with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection is necessary
