Healthcare Advisory Manager – Business Process Outsourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Support the review and oversight of Medicare and Medicaid cost report engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and requirements.

• Deliver consulting services related to Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement, operations, and strategic initiatives to client leadership.

• Foster effective communication between internal engagement leaders and client staff and leadership.

• Supervise the team's adherence to internal procedures, processes, and controls.

• Oversee both onshore and offshore teams that perform reimbursement and cost reporting services, technical accounting tasks, and data synthesis for client reports or analyses.

• Provide guidance and assistance on technical accounting, cost reporting, and reimbursement matters.

• Create models and analyses to address client requests.

• Promote continuous improvement of internal operations and contribute to the development of internal templates for processes, technology, and structural enhancements.

• Support business development efforts aimed at expanding the healthcare advisory practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Level.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships in person, over the phone, and in writing.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, and supervising Medicaid and Medicare cost report engagements for skilled nursing facilities and/or ICF/IID.

• Experience with home health, hospice, and home office is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement, cost reporting theory, and healthcare advisory consulting services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial processes, including GAAP.

• Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Preferred experience with Caseware and Health Financial Systems or similar Medicare cost report software.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain excellent organization.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional certification such as CPA is an advantage.
