This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Conduct workflow and system analysis along with functional design for the development and configuration of clinical application software.
• Engage in the implementation, training, adoption, and enhancement of Health Information Technology.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, clinical users, and software development/application teams.
• Provide support and occasionally take the lead on moderately complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with business and clinical caregivers to foster productive relationships.
• Deliver customer experience and service through effective verbal and written communication.
• Organize and prioritize work with a keen attention to detail.
• Apply informatics principles to positively influence people, processes, and tools.
• Utilize basic project management skills to aid in technology project deliverables.
• Visit facilities across the system to observe workflows, engage with stakeholders, assist with implementations, and carry out targeted functions.
• Solid understanding of workflows within a healthcare system.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging providers, nurses, and other clinicians through effective presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to enhance quality and safety.
• Experience in contributing to and leading Informatics project deliverables.
• Previous experience working with EHR vendors such as Cerner or Epic.
• Experience or training in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Registered Nurses and other licensed clinical professionals must maintain current state licensure.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs.
• Proven understanding of how clinical systems are used to deliver patient care by various caregivers and specialties.
• Basic project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, virtual meeting, and scheduling applications.
• Willingness to visit facilities across the system to support implementations.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, transporting, pushing, pulling, bending, and carrying equipment.
