Health Educator – In Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct phone consultations to review biometric screening results with participants.

• Educate members about lifestyle factors that impact essential health indicators.

• Keep precise records of coaching sessions.

• Audit and report on sessions and their outcomes.

• Utilize coaching software and tools to manage member data and monitor activities and outcomes.

• Cultivate active listening skills.

• Acquire knowledge of coaching methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

• Engage in training sessions and implement gained knowledge in assigned duties.

• Work collaboratively with fellow Health Educators to share insights, provide feedback, and enhance coaching effectiveness and member outcomes.

• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Trained in coaching competencies, theories, and methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.

• NBC-HWC certification preferred or to be obtained within 18 months of employment.

• Experience in clinical health education, weight management, nutrition, tobacco cessation, stress management, and physical activity.

• Familiarity with biometric results, including blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BF/BMI, and related metrics.

• Experience presenting to both live and remote audiences for extended periods.

• Background in planning, developing, and designing health education presentations and programs.

• Ability to innovate and be creative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Capability to speak, demonstrate, and use remote viewing technology simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong preference for primary fluency or bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Strong preference for the ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish interchangeably.
