This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls in a cutting-edge environment.
• Address general inquiries related to insurance and financial assistance.
• Process payment transactions efficiently.
• Initiate and respond to calls on behalf of clients to resolve billing and payment concerns using established work queues and call pools.
• Provide professional and comprehensive responses to requests for patient/account-holder information.
• Secure payments or set up payment arrangements on behalf of clients as necessary.
• Follow specific client protocols and policies diligently.
• Investigate and address client inquiries effectively.
• Record and oversee payment arrangements.
• Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
• Work Monday–Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST, with every other Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role involving public interaction.
• Preferred knowledge or experience in medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility in scheduling and assignments, including regular evening and Saturday work as needed.
• Ability to collaborate successfully within a team-oriented setting.
• Bilingual candidates offer additional support for bilingual inquiries.
• A broadband internet connection is required; DSL or dial-up is not acceptable.
• A hard-wired internet connection is mandatory; Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots are not permitted.
• Minimum internet speed of 40 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
• Camera must remain active from the beginning of training until the end of each scheduled shift, excluding designated breaks and lunch; post-training, camera usage will be as directed by the supervisor or team guidelines.
• Must reside in the United States and be located in one of the eligible states listed.
• Successful completion of all post-offer processing is required.
