This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls in a technologically advanced setting
• Address general inquiries related to insurance and financial assistance
• Process various payment transactions
• Make and receive calls on behalf of clients to address billing and payment concerns using established work queues and call pools
• Provide professional and comprehensive responses to patient/account-holder information requests
• Secure payment or arrange payment plans on behalf of clients as needed
• Comply with client-specific protocols and policies
• Investigate and address client queries effectively
• Record and track payment arrangements
• Ensure adherence to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations
• Work Monday–Friday from 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. CST, and every other Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. CST
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role involving daily public interaction
• Preferred knowledge/experience with medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Willingness to adapt to scheduling and assignments, including regular evening and Saturday shifts as necessary
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere
• Bilingual candidates are preferred for additional support with bilingual calls
• Reliable broadband internet connection; DSL or dial-up is not acceptable
• A hard-wired internet connection is required; Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots are not permitted
• Minimum internet speed of 40 Mbps for downloads and 5 Mbps for uploads
• Camera must remain on from the beginning of training to the end of each scheduled shift, except during designated breaks and lunch; after training, camera usage will follow supervisor or team guidelines
• Remote employees must reside in the United States, specifically in AZ, NV, ID, MT, OH, TX, OK, KS, LA, AR, MO, IL, IA, MN, WI, MI, IN, KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC, PA, MD, or NM
• Completion of all post-offer processing is mandatory
