This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the formulation and execution of Unilever’s strategic and operational framework.
• Guide a cross-functional team towards shared goals.
• Achieve volume, market share, and profit objectives across a $1B portfolio.
• Employ joint business planning to cultivate and enhance strategic customer alliances.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Strategy and Planning teams to create a portfolio that drives market share for Walmart.
• Leverage shopper insights and market trends to pinpoint growth opportunities as purchasing behaviors evolve.
• Develop and strengthen customer relationships both vertically and horizontally.
• Oversee the P&L, making strategic investments to foster top- and bottom-line growth while optimizing ROI.
• Lead, nurture, and advocate for an extended cross-functional team.
• Advance Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan through purposeful selling to customers.
• Establish and meet business objectives in collaboration with Customer Strategy and Planning and Brand leaders within a matrix structure.
• Create and implement standardized processes for customer engagement.
• Attract, inspire, develop, and retain cross-functional talent.
• Navigate interactions with senior customer leadership and negotiate effectively to achieve resolutions.
• Manage intricate, multi-layered customer relationships.
• Forge strategic partnerships with key customer leaders.
• Build a high-performing team for ongoing and future success.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 15 years of experience as a Sales Leader is required.
• Experience in both field and headquarters settings is necessary.
• Background in Trade/Customer Marketing/Channel Strategy is essential.
• Experience with Walmart is preferred.
• Familiarity with multiple channels and categories is advantageous.
• Capability to provide leadership and guidance for best-practice implementation.
• Preferred experience in Walmart omnichannel development.
• Experience in top-to-top selling and negotiations is preferred.
• Preferred background in food categories, including both dry and frozen items.
• Proven experience in developing marketing strategies to expand a business.
• Strong analytical abilities are required.
• Proficiency in crafting strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation plans.
• Demonstrated success in a complex, matrix organization is essential.
• Ability to influence and impact various areas of the organization.
• Experience in establishing a vision and rallying stakeholders around it.
• Results-oriented with practical expertise.
• Ability to empower teams while holding them accountable for outcomes.
• Skill to manage through persuasion and influence rather than authority.
• Recognized credibility as a mentor and coach.
