Head of RCM Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of RCM analytics from start to finish.

• Lead investigations into denials, underpayments, and revenue losses, ensuring solutions are effectively implemented.

• Develop reimbursement expectations and cash flow forecasting models in collaboration with Finance and Operations.

• Manage the roadmap for RCM automation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to outline requirements and business cases for RCM tools and automation.

• Direct revenue cycle strategies for launches in new markets.

• Oversee revenue cycle assessments for potential acquisition targets.

• Analyze data, interpret payer behaviors, identify high-impact opportunities, and execute strategies with Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Evaluate new opportunities and facilitate the integration of new businesses as the company grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–9 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in healthcare consulting or advisory, ideally with experience in an operational role.

• Proficient understanding of the complete revenue cycle process.

• Proven leadership in managing an analytics function.

• Successful track record of completing cross-functional projects.

• Ability to discern between urgent matters and those that are merely noisy.

• Experience within a multi-state or rapidly growing provider organization, or in technology-enabled care delivery.

• Background in post-acute care settings (home health, hospice, personal care).

• Familiarity with clearinghouses, PM/EHR billing systems (preferably HCHB), and RCM automation tools.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• No specific educational qualifications are mandatory.
