This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Take charge of the hospital partnership strategy across European markets by implementing clear prioritization and scoring criteria.
• Develop and oversee the hospital partnership pipeline, from initial contact to agreement, implementation coordination, and go-live.
• Navigate the decision-making structures within hospitals, including clinical research units, innovation offices, IT, legal, data protection, and executive sponsors.
• Coordinate the sequencing and timelines of implementations to align commercial expectations with technical realities.
• Design and facilitate governance for strategic partnerships, which includes steering meetings, escalation paths, shared roadmaps, and ownership responsibilities.
• Transform signed partnerships into live, referenceable sites through onboarding, activation milestones, and initial proof points.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to convert hospital partnerships into value for sponsors.
• Direct the patient organization partnership strategy and ensure network readiness for commercial activities across markets.
• Manage patient-engagement revenue streams, including panels, surveys, patient advisory boards, and patient-input initiatives from qualification to delivery.
• Safeguard the neutrality and independence of patient relationships, ensuring a fair allocation of revenue-sharing.
• Ensure that patient and hospital networks mutually reinforce each other through shared geographies, conditions, and proof points.
• Directly supervise and mentor country-level teams as markets become active.
• Create repeatable cross-country hospital partnership playbooks utilizing AI in research, preparation, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with consortia and grants functions on EU-funded programs.
• Proven experience in establishing and activating institutional healthcare partnerships, with the capability to detail the journey from initial contact to live status.
• Experience carrying or co-owning a commercial target related to services or engagement work sold to the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
• Confidence in managing patient-engagement revenue streams independently.
• Demonstrated leadership of a small team and the establishment of repeatable processes in a scale-up or rapidly changing environment.
• Comfortable working within multi-party frameworks that involve technology partners, public funding, and clinical institutions.
• An AI-first approach to research, account preparation, and partnership operations.
• Proficient in professional English and at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, German, or Dutch.
• Strong discipline in pipeline management using HubSpot or similar tools.
• Familiarity with clinical research operations, hospital research units, or EHR and health-data interoperability (such as FHIR and EHDS-related initiatives) is a plus.
• Experience with EU-funded consortium programs like Horizon Europe is advantageous.
• An established network within the European patient organization and/or hospital landscape is preferable.
• A player-coach role: you will personally handle the pipeline and the most critical revenue lines, not just the strategy behind them.
• Strong momentum to leverage: leading academic hospitals are already prepared to launch, and existing partnership relationships are in place — your role is to transform them into a driving force.
• Remote work opportunities within the EU.
• A swift and transparent hiring process: introductory calls, in-depth discussions with hiring managers, practical working sessions, conversations with founders, and reference checks — with feedback at every stage, completed in weeks rather than months.
• A dynamic, mission-driven team that values documentation, quick action, and incorporates AI leverage as a foundational element in every position.
• An expanding team to build and lead.
