Head of Investor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee a five-member investor relations team

• Report directly to both of the founders

• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage the performance of associates

• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings

• Establish a kickoff meeting on Monday and a review session on Friday

• Analyze successes, setbacks, and call transcripts

• Provide coaching to team members and address any performance challenges

• Cultivate and sustain the health of the investor network

• Ensure that every introduction is pertinent and of high quality

• Present weekly metrics to both founders, including details on mandate calls, activations, pitches, founder calls, and referrals

• Conduct senior mandate calls

• Collaborate closely with client success to ensure client fundraises progress smoothly

• Manage relationships with senior family offices and in new regions

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience managing a team, preferably with five or more direct reports

• Proven ability to hire, mentor, and terminate employees when necessary

• Six or more years of experience on the investment side of a family office, VC, or growth fund, or in raising capital for private companies

• Established relationships with real family offices

• Understanding of the criteria family offices evaluate before engaging with a founder

• Ability to craft concise, persuasive two-line pitches

• Strong discretion and capability to maintain confidentiality regarding names, numbers, and terms

• Experience utilizing AI tools and a streamlined CRM for managing administrative tasks
