Head of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Lemon.io’s technical roadmap and ensure engineering efforts align with business objectives.

• Lead and develop an engineering team that delivers quickly and consistently iterates.

• Tackle automated vetting, large-scale intelligent matching, and address demand-side challenges.

• Make informed prioritization decisions regarding new projects, ongoing initiatives, and discontinuations.

• Collaborate closely with the founder and product team to establish success metrics.

• Foster an engineering culture that emphasizes ownership, agility, and minimal bureaucracy.

• Make pivotal architectural decisions.

• Be responsible for the speed and quality of the work produced.

• Engage directly in product decisions and technical work.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams of 5–30+ individuals in a startup or high-growth environment.

• Practical experience with contemporary technology stacks.

• Proficient with AI/ML tools.

• Experience in a distributed, asynchronous-first team setting.
