Head of Content Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand the content production department, managing the entire visual content production cycle for internal teams.

• Collaborate with Product, Art, Design, Marketing, SMM, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination within the content production department.

• Gather, process, and prioritize content requests from various teams and departments.

• Assess tasks based on timeline, complexity, necessary resources, and execution strategy.

• Distribute work among the in-house team, external vendors, and freelancers.

• Assign tasks and monitor deadlines, quality, and final deliverables.

• Ensure that visual content aligns with artistic, technical, and product specifications.

• Maintain compliance with internal production standards and protocols.

• Identify and proactively mitigate risks that could impact production timelines or quality.

• Continuously enhance production processes through automation, new tools, and pipeline optimization.

• Scale processes in response to increasing volume and complexity.

• Establish and implement standardized procedures for producing various types of content.

• Engage in the development and launch of new content formats and categories.

• Coordinate content production for partnerships with artists, authors, brands, and other external collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Russian (C1/B2); internal documentation and communication are conducted in Russian.

• Residing in the EU.

• Demonstrated experience leading a content or visual production function at scale, with multiple leads and multi-tiered teams reporting.

• Strong background in visual arts or art direction.

• Experience in managing production pipelines, resource allocation, and relationships with vendors and freelancers.

• Comfortable with licensing and partnerships/IP collaborations.
