This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Manage accounting activities for a portfolio of e-commerce businesses along with a standalone manufacturing company.
• Create and execute strong procedures for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment management, vendor oversight, invoice authorization, and fraud prevention.
• Formulate and enforce accounting policies and internal control measures that adhere to U.S. GAAP standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensure the accuracy of financial statements, and manage both internal and external audits.
• Assess, recommend, and implement accounting systems, tools, and automation solutions.
• Lead, train, and provide support to the accounting team across various processes and platforms.
• Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and management to guarantee timely and consistent financial reporting.
• Supervise cash flow, perform account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with both local and international accounting regulations.
• Serve as a primary contact for banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• Over 8 years of leadership experience in accounting, particularly within e-commerce and manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting operations, including accounts receivable/accounts payable, payments, vendor management, invoice approvals, and audit processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing accounting policies, controls, and initiatives for process improvement.
• Proven track record in preventing and managing financial fraud or vendor-related scams.
• Proficient in ERP or accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities, with the ability to mentor and guide accounting teams.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a keen analytical mindset.
