Guidewire Architecture Advisor – Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and oversee architectures based on Guidewire solutions.

• Act as a technical expert for development teams and influence architectural choices.

• Convert business needs and architectural standards into effective, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Guide developers through mentorship, perform design and code evaluations, and advocate for best practices.

• Establish integration strategies connecting internal and external systems using APIs, web services, and microservices.

• Work collaboratively with architecture advisors, business analysts, QA teams, operations, and technology partners.

• Play a role in application modernization, cloud migration, deployment, and support initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in solution architecture or technical leadership within complex environments.

• Hands-on know-how with one or more Guidewire modules: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.

• Familiarity with Java and Gosu.

• Experience with Guidewire configurations and PCF pages, tailored to the specific role.

• Expertise in REST/SOAP integrations, service-oriented architectures, and microservices methodologies.

• Strong grasp of the property and casualty insurance sector.

• Understanding of Agile/DevOps practices.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in English.

• Proficient in French.

• Guidewire Associate, Specialist, or ACE certifications are advantageous.

• Experience with Guidewire Cloud, Azure, or AWS is a bonus.
