Growth Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare existing AI systems for swift deployment across our portfolio companies.

• Integrate AI systems with company tools and data, or redesign team workflows as needed.

• Collaborate with portfolio CEOs to comprehend business requirements and pinpoint AI prospects.

• Rapidly create prototypes, test them with actual customers, and refine based on feedback.

• Articulate AI systems in simple terms to encourage user engagement.

• Conduct experiments in areas such as paid advertising, funnels, lifecycle email, and customer support.

• Assess whether the results from experiments are significant or simply noise.

• Transition tasks requiring extensive backend development to the engineering team.

• Assume responsibility for a specific business line and foster growth using developed tools.

• Potentially manage one or more largely autonomous businesses within Mechanism.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in growth or product roles within a lean team environment.

• Background in executing campaigns, outreach initiatives, or experimental designs.

• Familiarity with owning key metrics such as revenue, CAC, or LTV.

• Experience in creating AI systems that effectively address business challenges.

• Competence in diagramming AI system components and justifying architectural choices.

• Ability to write and deploy code utilizing AI tools.

• Strong systems thinking; proficiency in a specific programming language is not mandatory.

• Engagement in side projects and a demonstrated interest in AI advancements.

• Quick adaptability to new tools and technologies.

• Comfort with uncertainty and frequently shifting priorities.

• Skill in conveying complex concepts in a straightforward manner to CEOs and operators.

• Experience in startups or small teams, preferably in DTC or consumer sectors.

• Willingness to overlap with US Eastern Time for the majority of the workday.

• Openness to working beyond a typical 9-to-5 schedule.
