Growth Engineer – Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement product features aimed at enhancing acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and conversion metrics.

• Plan, build, and execute A/B tests and product experiments.

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to discover growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

• Analyze user behavior, product funnels, and business metrics.

• Instrument applications with analytics tracking and event monitoring.

• Optimize onboarding experiences and user flows.

• Develop referral programs, engagement features, upgrade flows, and monetization experiments.

• Enhance website performance, technical SEO, and conversion paths.

• Create internal tools and automations for marketing, sales, customer success, and growth operations.

• Monitor and report on experiment outcomes, growth KPIs, and business impact.

• Continuously iterate on successful initiatives.

• Contribute to growth metrics, customer acquisition, revenue growth, solution quality and scalability, and the optimization of customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Engineering, or Full-Stack Development.

• Strong experience in developing modern web applications utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.

• Familiarity with analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, or data-driven product development.

• Solid understanding of product metrics, conversion funnels, user engagement, and growth strategies.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Proficient knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to translate business goals into quantifiable technical initiatives.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Full-Stack Development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, or similar technologies.

• Backend Development experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, or similar.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with product analytics and event tracking.

• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms.

• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools.

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Skills in performance optimization.

• Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.
