Group Vice President – GPO Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Define and direct the enterprise strategy for relationships with key GPOs and health systems.

• Forge trusted, senior-level partnerships and develop shared agendas that provide clinical, operational, and economic value.

• Facilitate intricate commercial negotiations and contracting decisions.

• Convert market and customer insights into distinctive growth strategies and effective enterprise execution.

• Align cross-functional leaders around priorities, value propositions for customers, implementation, and performance metrics.

• Create innovative partnership models that enhance access, promote profitable growth, and bolster BD’s strategic partnership standing.

• Anticipate shifts in the market, policy, and competition, and proactively adapt strategies accordingly.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team while enhancing organizational capability and succession planning.

• Establish clear priorities, foster accountability, and deliver sustainable commercial results.

• Build consensus across organizational boundaries and articulate complex issues effectively.

• Identify and address problems with diligence and drive accountability through the BDE process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, MHA, or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

• Extensive progressive leadership experience in MedTech, healthcare, strategic accounts, or national account management.

• In-depth understanding of GPO and health-system business models, complex contracting, and value generation.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and enterprise initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization.

• Executive presence and credibility with senior customers and internal stakeholders.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

• Willingness to travel nationally as necessary.
