This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage senior client relationships and ensure overall commercial success for a portfolio of rapidly growing accounts.
• Act as a strategic business partner, assisting clients in determining where and how to allocate their investments.
• Guide clients from initial testing and market exploration to scaled acquisition and comprehensive growth across the funnel.
• Collaborate with media, creative, strategy, data, and technology leaders to develop integrated growth systems.
• Ensure that measurement and learning agendas are incorporated into the projects from the outset.
• Link media performance to customer acquisition, retention, revenue, and lifetime value.
• Spot and influence organic growth opportunities before they evolve into formal briefs.
• Oversee commercial planning, covering scopes, staffing models, forecasting, profitability, and account investment decisions.
• Provide clarity among fast-paced multidisciplinary teams and establish DEPT® as a cohesive client partner.
• Contribute to new business initiatives that involve growth, emerging technologies, and consumer transformation.
• Mentor Client Partners and Directors to enhance DEPT®’s standards for contemporary client leadership.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in agency, consultancy, startup, or client-side roles.
• Extensive experience in managing large or strategically significant client relationships.
• Proven track record of growing early-stage or rapidly scaling businesses through media and marketing strategies.
• Strong grasp of performance marketing, measurement, experimentation, and comprehensive growth strategies.
• Experience managing substantial media budgets and scaling investments based on proven insights.
• Demonstrated commercial leadership, including scoping, negotiation, forecasting, and account growth.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive storytelling abilities.
• History of building trust rapidly in complex, high-pressure situations.
• Meaningful contributions to organic growth and/or new business development.
• Capacity to understand specialized disciplines sufficiently to ask pertinent questions, challenge assumptions, and connect them to business challenges.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (DEPT® participates in E-Verify).
