This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide equitable and coordinated care focused on the client, which includes assessments, support for grant requests, referrals, informal counseling, and guidance.
• Evaluate and recommend grant assistance for healthcare, mental health, addiction recovery, and essential living requirements.
• Facilitate connections for individuals to a continuum of care through Health and Human Services teams.
• Utilize client insights and data to enhance program delivery and services.
• Stay informed about MusiCares’ annual Wellness in Music survey data and convert insights into effective care coordination.
• Identify opportunities to enhance programming and promote industry-wide support strategies.
• Utilize assessment tools and program guidelines to ensure consistent, equitable, and high-quality service delivery.
• Keep accurate and timely confidential case records and review documentation in line with organizational policy.
• Work collaboratively with Operations and Finance on fraud prevention, documentation standards, and uniform client assessment methods.
• Engage in professional development related to data management, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, client engagement, industry trends, and HHS compliance.
• Share trends focused on clients and maintain a deep understanding of MusiCares’ stewardship.
• Collaborate with various organizational departments.
• Represent MusiCares at on-site events and industry engagement opportunities, promoting MusiCares programs and services for the Recording Academy and its affiliates.
• Master’s degree in mental health, behavioral health, social services, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services.
• Ability to assess areas pertaining to mental health, addiction recovery, health-related issues, and general financial hardship/basic living needs.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and respect for privacy issues.
• Cultural competence and high emotional intelligence, with the capacity to engage with diverse communities.
• Proficient in MS Office, Mail Chimp, Event Bright, and/or similar creative software suites.
• Familiarity with database products and techniques to optimize data for reporting and departmental analytics.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as strategic thinking.
• Capacity to thrive in a collaborative and entrepreneurial business environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and work at a computer for long durations.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
