Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate and implement innovative, customer-focused graphic designs and animations for Giant Tiger’s marketing platforms, with a primary focus on flyers.

• Develop accessible and inclusive designs that enhance the customer journey.

• Engage in content planning and produce graphic design concepts and wireframes.

• Showcase design concepts and wireframes to Product Management Teams and Leadership.

• Analyze and integrate feedback into design iterations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create creative assets that align with the product roadmap and marketing objectives.

• Recognize workflow enhancements and escalate suggestions to boost efficiency and speed to market.

• Conduct research in graphic design, animation, and UX.

• Spot trends, tools, and insights, utilizing data and site metrics to guide design recommendations.

• Implement and uphold the Graphic Design Content Style Guide and the creative asset database.

• Monitor and report on graphic design SLAs while shortening lead time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in web and print graphic design.

• At least 2 years of experience in the eCommerce sector.

• Comprehensive understanding of digital design processes and methodologies, including current best practices, creative UX/UI standards, A/B testing, and performance/conversion drivers.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Familiarity with Figma and XD.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce on-brand digital content.

• Capability to manage multiple design projects with varying deadlines concurrently.

• Aptitude for making swift graphic decisions that align with brand identity and overall business strategies.

• Knowledgeable in retail, eCommerce, and flyer creation.

• Customer-oriented with a mobile-first approach.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in Canada and maintain this authorization throughout employment.
