Graphic Design Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in advancing ONC's goal of delivering nonpartisan news, insights, and policy solutions through various media department activities.

• Collaborate effectively with the Media, Business Development, Community, and Core Content teams.

• Design advertisements for prospective sponsors utilizing headlines crafted by the creative writing team.

• Develop book covers, infographics, logos, flyers, and graphics for video projects.

• Produce innovative and engaging content to captivate Community members.

• Liaise with the CEO, COO, and Director of Marketing regarding designs, layouts, content, timelines, and concepts.

• Work in close collaboration with the Director of Marketing and colleagues while also demonstrating the capability to operate independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current or recent student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and/or related disciplines.

• Proficiency in basic editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc. is essential.

• Must be a responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even in challenging situations.

• Ability to work remotely and manage one’s own schedule to adhere to deadlines.

• Must be able to attend Tuesday Media & Marketing team meetings or notify a Team Lead if unable to participate.

• Must possess authorization to intern in the U.S.
