This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Create engaging content and oversee comprehensive grant proposal projects.
• Offer strategic insights for grant proposals in line with Foundation guidelines.
• Support approximately 40-50 solicitations each year, generating between $1M and $1.5M annually.
• Achieve annual and campaign fundraising targets by developing and implementing a portfolio of new, renewable, and upgradeable institutional donors.
• Draft Letters of Inquiry and proposals.
• Assist in formulating foundation strategies and managing a robust foundation portfolio.
• Identify and research suitable foundation prospects.
• Aid in donor stewardship and ensure grant deliverables are met.
• Oversee a foundation fundraising calendar.
• Consult and support Philanthropy and occasionally Corporate team members across various regions regarding funding agency regulations, standards, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Foundation administrative, fiscal, and accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and support all phases of the foundation grant lifecycle.
• Collaborate with staff to recognize, strategize, and advance high-value foundation funding opportunities.
• Supervise grant pipeline management, calendars, tracking systems, compliance reviews, and funding-related financial and regulatory documentation.
• Provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders on program planning, priorities, and funder requirements.
• Establish best-practice grant review processes and maintain refined proposals.
• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in a major gift/campaign fundraising setting.
• Preference for experience working with foundations.
• Familiarity with restricted fund accounting principles, procedures, budgets, and standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Exceptional written, copy-editing, and analytical skills.
• Capacity to work independently in a complex organization, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
