This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and evaluate potential funding partners, such as Jewish family offices, private foundations, regional Federations, and corporate sponsors.
• Draft and submit Letters of Intent (LOIs), grant proposals, and sponsorship presentations for JGO programs and professional speaker series.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive Grant Calendar to monitor deadlines, submissions, and reporting obligations.
• Assist in the creation of impact reports that showcase JGO’s value to its network of over 150 campuses.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance JGO’s case for support, highlighting its significance in the professional and graduate student arena.
• Oversee the entire grant process, from philanthropic research through to proposals and reporting.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing.
• Proven success within the Jewish philanthropic sector.
• Knowledge of major foundations that support Jewish life.
• Familiarity with the family office landscape.
• Capability to write persuasively for discerning donors and board members.
• An understanding of the graduate and young professional demographic is highly advantageous.
• Submit a brief cover letter or a summary detailing the most significant achievement in the Jewish nonprofit sector.
• Provide two writing samples, ideally including a successful grant proposal and an LOI.
• Present a fee structure, indicating either an hourly rate or a monthly retainer.
• Approximately 10–20 hours of work per week.
