This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Define the product roadmap through global sprints held every six months.
• Emphasize design and user experience, including developer tools and command line applications.
• Create high-quality, resilient, and performant code that may serve millions of users daily.
• Attain proficiency in essential programming languages and gain knowledge of Linux systems.
• Interact with users and the open-source community via code reviews and issue tracking.
• Prioritize customer issues and develop an understanding of enterprise needs.
• Enhance skills and awareness regarding security in software design and implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams distributed globally and participate in in-person team sprints twice a year.
• Outstanding academic performance from both high school and university.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or another STEM field with programming courses.
• Confidence to initiate and produce high-quality code in one of the following: Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
• Proven record of exceeding expectations to deliver exceptional results.
• Results-oriented and organized, with a commitment to fulfilling obligations.
• Engagement in personal projects related to technology and software engineering beyond academic requirements.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, along with curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
• Demonstrated personal responsibility and accountability.
• Self-awareness, thoughtfulness, and the ability to reflect and grow.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
• Anticipated graduation in software engineering in 2025 or 2026.
