📋 Description

• Oversee a team responsible for providing leadership in regulatory and accreditation matters for BSI's Artificial Intelligence certification body, notified body, and assessment teams on a global scale.

• Manage AI notified body and certification body schemes worldwide in accordance with ISO17021, ISO17065, ISO17025, and relevant accreditation and legislative requirements.

• Direct the development and upkeep of Conformity Assessment Activities for both providers and manufacturers.

• Ensure that technology and processes align with EU AI Regulations, relevant standards, and global regulatory requirements.

• Guarantee that BSI policies, procedures, and documentation comply with current AI regulatory obligations.

• Ensure that personnel in NB, AI Services, and AIMS operate at the necessary level of expertise and rigor.

• Provide policy guidance, input, and expertise concerning AI technical assessments and AI management systems.

• Develop associated certification schemes.

• Represent BSI at AI events, forums, stakeholder engagements, and working groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field pertinent to Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, or an equivalent discipline.

• A minimum of four years of post-graduate experience in conformity assessment, quality management, software development, quality policy/regulation, or standardization development.

• At least one year of experience specifically related to AI.

• Proficiency in AI Lifecycle and Quality aspects, alongside the regulatory dimensions of AI products.

• Experience in team management.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, particularly in communication and influence.
