This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Assist with administrative care management responsibilities
• Engage in outreach efforts for both members and providers
• Contribute to healthcare initiatives and activities, which include educational and quality campaigns
• Aid in the scheduling of appointments for care managers and members
• Address inquiries from members
• Perform data entry tasks and conduct research
• Support the non-clinical needs of members
• Manage low-risk members concerning health-related social needs, education, and basic outreach screenings or inquiries
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of 1 year of college and 2 years of experience with communication systems, including Fax, Email, and Telephone
• 1 year of experience with managed care systems or healthcare systems
• Experience in coordinating member needs, assisting members, and analyzing their requirements
• Basic understanding of medical or healthcare terminology
• Familiarity with clinical systems, such as claims, enrollment, and documentation
• Proficiency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong customer service abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare written correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
• Must reside anywhere within the state of New Mexico
