This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Assist the Senior Director of Operations in matters related to government grant compliance, which includes both state and federal funding.
β’ Aid in the upkeep of compliance documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
β’ Contribute to the development of training resources and materials aimed at educating staff on grant requirements and compliance standards.
β’ Support the monitoring, audits, and evaluations of programs.
β’ Provide administrative and documentation assistance for risk management and corrective action planning.
β’ Ensure ongoing compliance with Sexual Risk Avoidance Education and Thriving Texas Families (TTF) requirements.
β’ Help track compliance of government grants and contracts in line with federal, state, and local regulations.
β’ Facilitate communication with government funders and monitoring agencies.
β’ Assist in internal monitoring, file reviews, compliance audits, and compiling findings for leadership evaluation.
β’ Document and monitor corrective actions and initiatives for continuous improvement.
β’ Aid in the preparation of materials for external monitoring visits, audits, and site evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with the Finance team on documentation and cost allocation to ensure compliant reimbursement.
β’ Support program teams with documentation and reporting related to compliance.
β’ Assist in delivering compliance training for staff and partners.
β’ Provide regular compliance reporting support to the Senior Director of Operations.
β’ Participate and volunteer at The Source's major fundraising event each year.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in government grant compliance, administration, or auditing is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), state agency contracts (e.g., HHSC), and monitoring/audit processes, including multi-year program grants like Texas Thriving Families (TTF) and SRAE, is a plus.
β’ Ability to assist in the interpretation and application of federal and state regulations under supervision.
β’ Strong skills in research, data management, and organization.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ High attention to detail is essential.
β’ Collaborative team player with the capability to work cross-functionally.

β’ Must reside in the Austin or Houston, Texas areas.
β’ Full-time employee status.
