Global Specialist, Regulatory Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Perform regulatory compliance assessments on raw materials utilized in flavors, food ingredients, and associated products.

• Acquire, review, and analyze supplier documentation to evaluate ingredient compliance and approval status.

• Examine regulatory, scientific, and technical information in relation to global regulations, customer demands, and internal policies.

• Provide regulatory guidance to R&D, Creative, Quality Assurance, Production, and other departments.

• Identify potential compliance risks and offer suggestions for resolution.

• Maintain records, approvals, and supporting documentation related to regulatory matters.

• Assist in the evaluation and integration of new raw materials into the company's offerings.

• Oversee multiple compliance reviews while adhering to project timelines and business objectives.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.

• At least 4 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the food, flavor, ingredient, chemical, or similar sectors.

• Experience in reviewing supplier documentation and evaluating raw material compliance.

• Familiarity with regulations pertaining to food ingredients, flavors, and raw materials.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting complex regulatory information.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
