
Global Sales Director – Lifestyle & Entertainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create strategic account plans aimed at generating new revenue opportunities and expanding market share within designated Entertainment Accounts.
• Oversee third-party entertainment accounts, which encompass both group and transient travel accounts.
• Cultivate and maintain enduring strategic global account relationships.
• Propel premium business and attract new clients to Hyatt’s diverse portfolio of brands.
• Develop and sustain account/action plans that include quota objectives, customer engagement strategies, account revenue tactics, account evaluations, promotional activities, and B2B marketing opportunities.
• Provide support for global hotel sales requirements based on established priorities and anticipated business levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Hyatt Sales Force to retain and grow key accounts.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the Entertainment sector by sharing market insights, trends, and opportunities.
• Manage and participate in events related to the Entertainment industry and Hyatt's clientele.
• Organize internal resources focused on the Entertainment segment and engage with field teams.
• Host customer engagements based on business priorities.
• Conduct direct sales outreach through solicitation, phone interactions, and written communication.
• Ensure that sales contracts adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor market trends and customer behavior.
• Assist hotel representatives in customer engagement, sales calls, webinars, and targeted events.
• Design and curate branded experiences for customer-facing events.
• Act as a brand ambassador by representing Hyatt at industry gatherings.
• Support new hotels in identifying and securing potential accounts.
• Organize and coordinate familiarization trips.
• Deliver product presentations for key accounts.
• Compile monthly activity and production reports.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in global or regional sales or a hotel leadership role.
• Experience in hotel sales operations at the property level.
• Strong understanding of entertainment travel coupled with a robust network of contacts.
• Exceptional presentation and networking abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Lanyon, Reserve, Opera, Oracle, and Envision is preferred.
• Experience in sales and/or operations roles within All-Inclusive, Luxury, Full Service, and Select Service properties.
• Willingness to travel and work during off-peak hours.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated individual able to work independently in a fast-paced and relatively autonomous setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both for virtual and in-person presentations.
• Capability to manage event budgets and annual T&E, seminar, and tradeshow budgets.
