This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Develop and implement a strategic portfolio plan and product roadmap for routine clinical flow cytometry IVD assays over a span of 3 to 5 years.
• Oversee the complete product lifecycle management, encompassing opportunity identification, market analysis, business case formulation, support for product development, launch strategy, portfolio enhancement, and lifecycle management.
• Convert insights from customers, markets, and applications into effective product and commercial strategies.
• Establish product specifications, value propositions, and market entry strategies.
• Act as the representative voice of the customer throughout the development phases.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and solution product managers to create cohesive workflow solutions.
• Work in tandem with Product Marketing and Commercial Marketing teams to optimize portfolio performance and ensure successful product introductions.
• Acquire market intelligence and strategic insights through competitive evaluations, customer interactions, and the exploration of external partnership opportunities.
• Guide portfolio investment choices and foster growth.
• A PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related life sciences field is preferred; candidates holding a Master's degree with significant relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, marketing, or business development within the IVD, Life Sciences, or medical device sectors.
• A deep understanding of clinical flow cytometry workflows and their applications.
• Capability to engage in technical discussions with R&D teams, influential opinion leaders, and end users.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects across various geographies and functions.
• Proven track record of successfully influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong communication skills with technical, commercial, and senior leadership stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• A strategic, agile, and results-driven approach.
• Ability to handle uncertainty, prioritize competing demands, and juggle multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in developing and managing external partnerships is advantageous.
• An MBA degree is a plus.
• Estimated travel of up to 25% of the time, including international travel.
