This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Develop and facilitate the execution of the advisory services strategy within the US, ensuring alignment with global priorities.
• Successfully meet both qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable manner.
• Tailor the global advisory services offering to meet the demands of the US market.
• Strategically plan, oversee, and enhance a local offering portfolio while ensuring effective project execution.
• Promote excellence within advisory service teams through the ongoing development of personnel and processes.
• Manage and expand the U.S. Advisory Services portfolio, which includes Arc Flash Risk Assessments, Infrared Inspections, and LOTO.
• Direct the portfolio strategy, customer value analysis, performance management, and ensure alignment with global goals.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Recognize and pursue growth opportunities, assess new service offerings, formulate value propositions, and assist in investment and partnership decisions.
• Create and implement U.S. business and go-to-market strategies, including business model development, pricing strategy, sales support, strategic business development efforts, and portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and global partners to facilitate operational execution, meet revenue and margin targets, and cultivate relationships with key customers and executive decision-makers.
• Advocate for ABB's core values and principles.
• Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of experience in global functions such as marketing, sales, account management, and product management.
• Background in service operations and field service within the power distribution and energy industry.
• Strong comprehension of customer requirements, electrical products, applications, and service solutions.
• Proven track record in developing innovative, customer-centric solutions and driving service growth.
• Experience in managing complex customer projects, partnerships, and M&A-related activities.
• Global perspective with exceptional intercultural communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
• Choice between two medical plan options: a PPO plan known as the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) referred to as the High Deductible Plan.
