Global Privacy Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of a global privacy program that adheres to regulatory, compliance, and business needs.

• Collaborate with privacy experts, legal advisors, compliance teams, and business partners.

• Oversee privacy procedures, evaluate risks, fulfill regulatory obligations, and promote operational excellence.

• Aid in addressing privacy inquiries from government and regulatory bodies, customers, patients, employees, and other stakeholders.

• Facilitate requirements with global and regional authorities, including necessary filings, registrations, and appointments.

• Conduct and assess Data Privacy Impact Assessments in compliance with global privacy standards and risk analysis requirements.

• Support requests related to individual rights, including tracking relevant metrics and KPIs for reporting purposes.

• Assist in auditing and monitoring efforts alongside Internal Audit, Compliance, IT Security, and Legal teams.

• Recommend enhancements to the privacy program and strategy based on business demands, industry developments, and best practices.

• Recognize and escalate issues for management or legal evaluation.

• Stay informed about Stryker's product offerings, competitive landscape, and customer base.

• Track and monitor privacy requests and assessments, providing timely updates.

• Identify enhancements in systems and processes that improve efficiency, compliance, or reduce costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.

• At least 2 years of experience in supporting privacy, compliance, or risk management activities.

• Proven experience in conducting, reviewing, or assisting with privacy assessments, compliance reviews, audits, or regulatory procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

• Preferably 5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, DPIAs, or DPAs.

• Professional certification in privacy or compliance (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CRCM) is preferred.

• Experience with global privacy programs in a multinational organization is a plus.

• Advanced user of OneTrust is preferred.

• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

• Experience in a large global matrix organization is preferred.
