This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take charge of the global implementation process at Gridsight.
• Direct the global implementation function along with regional implementation teams.
• Transform customers’ unprocessed grid data into precise models within Gridsight’s platform.
• Extract, validate, and modify customer data to fit Gridsight’s schema.
• Manage utility network models on a regular basis throughout the contract duration.
• Enhance scoping and implementation planning, encompassing commitments, dependencies, risks, and customer responsibilities.
• Oversee portfolio reviews, delivery forecasting, risk management, and executive escalation procedures.
• Remain closely engaged with active implementations and address process, tooling, or technical challenges.
• Establish a balanced scorecard for metrics like time to value, cycle time, forecast accuracy, quality, rework, automation coverage, regional capability, and customer outcomes.
• Develop the Implementation Centre of Excellence, which includes its charter, service catalog, governance model, and cross-functional interfaces.
• Manage implementation methodologies, patterns, playbooks, templates, checklists, reusable configurations, and the knowledge base.
• Ensure consistent technical and quality standards across platforms and regions.
• Transform insights from implementation experiences into enhanced standards, product requirements, automations, and enablement.
• Lead the shift to a Centre of Excellence model that supports complete regional delivery.
• Define regional capabilities, roles, capacity, and operational responsibilities.
• Create regional training, shadowing, certification, and coaching initiatives.
• Set up regional readiness gates, support boundaries, and escalation processes.
• Oversee data landing as the automation service area for implementations.
• Collaborate with the Data Platform on transformation tools and warehouse design.
• Enhance customer data intake through automated checks, validation, feedback, and exception management.
• Ensure workflows facilitate safe and independent regional operations.
• Confirm that implementation tools are sustainable, secure, observable, and owned.
• Propel AI integration throughout implementation workflows.
• Construct the central team structure and capability plan for the Centre of Excellence.
• Establish benchmarks for technical judgment, delivery discipline, documentation, ownership, and customer empathy.
• Cultivate a culture focused on urgency, quality, and ongoing system enhancement.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Product, Engineering, and Customer teams.
• Initially report to the VP of Operations.
• Proven experience in leading global implementation functions and regional implementation teams.
• Capability to enhance delivery quality, predictability, and customer time to value.
• Experience in establishing an Implementation Centre of Excellence.
• Proficiency in defining systems, standards, governance models, and interfaces for scalable global delivery.
• Ability to empower regional teams for ownership of end-to-end implementation delivery.
• Skill in automating repetitive tasks and creating scalable systems, tools, and reusable assets.
• Strong technical judgment and experience in reviewing technical designs.
• Background in implementation planning, including portfolio reviews, delivery forecasting, risk management, and executive escalation.
• Proficiency in creating and utilizing implementation performance scorecards.
• Experience in developing implementation methodologies, playbooks, templates, checklists, reusable configurations, and knowledge bases.
• Familiarity with establishing technical and quality standards across platforms and regions.
• Experience in training, shadowing, certification, and coaching programs.
• Ability to define regional readiness gates, support boundaries, and escalation paths.
• Knowledge in customer data intake processes, automated checks, validation, feedback, and exception handling.
• Ability to collaborate with the Data Platform on transformation tools and warehouse design.
• Experience ensuring implementation tools are maintainable, secure, observable, and owned.
• Capability to drive AI integration across implementation workflows.
• Experience in developing team structures and capability plans.
• Ability to partner across Commercial, Product, Engineering, and Customer functions.
