This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Influence the direction of GE Vernova's global supply chain on an enterprise scale.
• Establish a forward-thinking supply chain framework that promotes sustainable operations and competitive excellence within Gas Power and GE Vernova.
• Take ownership of the future Make-Buy landscape, including decisions related to footprint, technology, and capacity.
• Define the methods by which GE Vernova constructs and sources generators, components, and services from factories and suppliers.
• Direct commodity strategy decisions that encompass technology, product configuration, standardization, value-chain positioning, and inventory strategies.
• Enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) principles.
• Impact delivery, quality, new product introduction, lead times, costs, and margins for new units and services.
• Spearhead cross-functional projects and achieve results through influence.
• Oversee multiple high-priority workstreams within a matrixed environment.
• Convert complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related area — or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Lean, Manufacturing, Strategy, Program Management, or Operational Excellence.
• Proven experience in applying Lean and process improvement methodologies to intricate business or operational challenges.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate findings as clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive outcomes through influence, including engagement with stakeholders beyond your immediate organization.
• Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple high-priority workstreams concurrently in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Clear and confident communication abilities, both written and verbal, with proficiency in engaging effectively with senior leaders.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• Preferred: experience in developing and managing operational dashboards, KPIs, benefit-tracking tools, and executive-level reporting.
• Preferred: expertise in Lean methodologies, including standard work, visual management, value-stream mapping, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Preferred: financial acumen encompassing cost, cash flow, contribution margins, capital expenditures, productivity metrics, and business case development.
• Preferred: familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools that enhance organizational productivity and decision-making.
