This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more locations.
• Define and implement global operational standards across all distribution center locations.
• Ensure uniformity between J&J-owned and 3PL-operated facilities.
• Establish and oversee distribution center archetypes, performance expectations, and operational models.
• Monitor compliance and promote standardization throughout regions.
• Own global standards and governance related to site master planning, continuous improvement, HSE, performance management, SLAs, site scorecards, packaging optimization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Lead internal and external benchmarking initiatives to generate insights on industry and competitive performance.
• Develop and implement Cost-to-Deliver/Serve models and strategies.
• Provide data-driven insights to enhance performance and guide strategic decision-making.
• Define and implement continuous improvement methodologies across the network.
• Establish and lead global communities of practice.
• Act as Global Business Process Owner for Deliver Performance Excellence.
• Manage process governance, standardization, and harmonization on a global scale.
• Approve global standards and oversee deviations or local adaptations.
• Build and lead a high-performing global team.
• Promote leadership capability, succession planning, and talent development.
• Advocate for diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and HSE requirements.
• Elevate risks, issues, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
• Support initiatives focused on operational excellence and transformation.
• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations, Operational Excellence, or Distribution/Warehouse Management.
• Proven success in deploying operational standards across global logistics networks.
• Strong experience in benchmarking and performance analytics.
• Extensive experience in Cost-to-Serve/Deliver modeling.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or regulated industries is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• A Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth expertise in distribution center operations and operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills, including benchmarking, process mapping, and data mining.
• Experience in developing and enforcing global operational standards.
• Knowledge of EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements in logistics environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a global matrix.
• Change leadership mindset with the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
• APICS, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification is preferred.
