GHG/Decarbonisation Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with BwB on an upcoming assignment focused on Climate Action and Sustainability for corporate clients.

• Offer specialized knowledge in GHG emissions and decarbonization strategies.

• Create comprehensive decarbonization plans, which include setting targets.

• Evaluate GHG inventories for accuracy and compliance.

• Perform technical assessments of investments aimed at reducing emissions.

• Assist in advisory and/or research initiatives related to climate change, energy, or sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or an equivalent professional qualification in engineering, environmental science, climate change, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in advisory and/or research pertaining to climate change, energy, or sustainability.

• At least 4 years of experience in carbon footprint analysis, GHG accounting, and implementing emission reduction strategies.

• Proven experience in developing decarbonization plans, including target establishment.

• Experience in reviewing GHG inventories or conducting technical assessments of emission reduction investments.

• Participation in a minimum of 5 relevant projects.

• Desirable: Familiarity with international climate standards and methodologies, such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, SBTi, or TPI, demonstrated through at least 1 relevant project.

• Desirable: Experience in providing technical assistance or project development support for EU institutions within the last 5 years.

• Availability for a period of 36 months starting from October 2026.
